Salvation

Are you looking for the joy and peace we sing about and have in our lives?
There is no gift so great as that of God's Salvation through the sacrifice of Christ, His only Son.

Our Father in Heaven loves you. You are His child. He loves you in spite of your sin.

While God does require payment for sin, He loves you so much that He provided the ETERNAL solution. Jesus.

He loves us as we are...the dirty, unworthy sinner. But Christ's love and atonement will make us pure in His sight and worthy of Heaven.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

He loves everyone. Not just a few. Every, single soul.

Romans 5:8 tells us that God loved us so that "when we were in our sin Christ Jesus came to die for us."

Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

No one is perfect. We all sin every day.

Sin separates us from God, and God gives us a choice: accept His free gift of salvation...
or reject it and be separated from God for eternity.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Our wages, what we deserve for our sin...is death.

For all eternity we will be removed from the love, peace, and beauty of God. That is, if we choose sin.

But Christ's death on the cross gives us eternal life! He paid the debt we could never pay. We CAN HAVE LIFE!!!

Second Corinthians 5:21 says, "He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we may be made the righteousness of God through Him."

When Jesus rolled the stone away from the tomb, He won our victory over sin, death, and the grave forever.

How do you accept this free gift? Easy!

Romans 10:9-10 "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

It's a free gift. With your entire spirit, trust God, accept Christ's death on the cross and resurrection as atonement for your sins.

As you believe in Jesus, you will confess it with your mouth. Why hide the greatest gift?!

Are you a sinner?

Do you believe through faith that Jesus died on a cross for your sin?

Do you confess Him as your Lord and Savior?

Romans 10:13 "for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Very simple: anyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL BE SAVED!

Just confess....God will do the rest.

Pray a prayer like this: "Father, I am a sinner, unworthy of life. I know I cannot save my own soul and I need a savior.
I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that He rose again and is my Lord. I repent of my sins.
I ask You, Jesus, to forgive my sin and live in my heart as Lord and Savior. Through faith I receive you as my Lord.
Thank you, Jesus, for your salvation."

That's it! The easiest, most wonderful gift you can ever receive. Now go and tell!
